Tarp Sessions 12″ Vinyl Pre-orders coming soon..

Walking Sleep’s TARP SESSIONS series of EP’s are being remastered and packaged for release as a full length album in collectable orange 12″ vinyl. The slated release is first week of November 2011.

iPod fans, don’t worry, this will also come with a free download code for the digital files, as well as being available as digital only through iTunes / Amazon MP3 etc..

Next week around this time, Walking Sleep will announce special pre-order bundles that will get you the record before everyone else, save you cash, and reward you for being awesome.

The vinyl pre-order will be bundled with an 11+ track limited edition B-sides and Extras CD, with upgrades to include t-shirts / totes / posters / balloons / and whatever else can be thought up between here and then.

All this sold via the bandcamp page where, for now, you can still listen to the original released EP versions of Tarp Sessions. Downloading has been disabled.

There are talks of finding a physical format for all of these soon, CD, vinyl.. with big pretty art. At that point they would no longer be free to download so get these while you can!

We lined up a Saturday night gig at Hotel Cafe in the heart of Hollywood, CA. May 28th @ 8:30pm. It’s going to be a crazy fun time. WS’s first time at ‘the Cafe’. We’ll see you there.

Adam got his amp fixed – turns out it was a broken driver, Ethan is getting acquainted with an old Roland 2080 rack unit for backup, Aaron plays video games and drinks beer, Sara’s solo album “Four” came out (for real this time), and she’s playing a residency of her solo work at Casey’s Irish Pub downtown every Saturday night this month. Also Hunter got a smart phone after denying he ever would.

On a more somber note we want to also mention that Daniel Goldblatt, our loyal drummer, and best of friend since 2007, will no longer be performing with us. -Words can’t express how intensely memorable our time together has been.
